[i]queerly_fucked posting in [i]birls: Binder Buyer

Heyyy. I bring you a birl and her ferret.

What's everyone's experience with Underworks? I need a binder by next Friday. How long do they usually take? Can they be trusted (The company, not the binder.) ? Should I pay for the next day delivery? Would anyone like to sell me one? I promise I'll put this post in favorites because I KNOW this isn't the first time I have asked these questions.

[i]purinmo posting in [i]birls: Feeling weird

I keep getting angry with myself for being born this way. It's not my fault, I didn't choose this. I just want to be flat chested and muscled and thin, and have a deep voice and talk and sing without sounding like a girl. I'll be buying a real chest binder soon, so maybe that will help with my self image issues right now. Which has me asking, can anybody help me? I'm thinking about buying one from T Kingdom. Also, some pictures.

Measurements and photos )
I dunno, I hate to just be a bore on here. I just wanted to vent a little of my depression to people whom would know what I was going through. I've actually been way too afraid to tell hardly anyone- only a couple friends know, though some won't refer to me as a guy, and I freeze when I even THINK of going to a doctor to talk about it.

This year was the first time I've ever gone to the state fair, and holy moly... It was fun.

What's YOUR favorite ride? I can't really decide at the moment, but I'm leaning towards the sling shot. If you haven't done it... IT'S INSANE! haha

Anywho. Hope everyone is doing well, and the rest of your week holds many of smiles for ya.
Mwah,

[i]bobbieozella posting in [i]birls: HELLO

I am going to finally post a hello to this community. I have been a creeper for an uncomfortably long time, dudes!

But the real reason is that I have this dilemma. It's a birly dilemma, but also a plain ol' people dilemma.
I go to school in Savannah, and while it is ridiculous that I can't find a single interesting/existing gay chick here in art school, I have to return to Atlanta soon! And all my friends are HERE!
So this is one of those regular "Hey, if you live in this city plz be my friend" kind of posts.

Yo ladies in the Marietta/Downtowny area! HIT ME UP! Let's do shit! I'm excited about life and all kinds of things! :D Also, if you live in Savannah add me too because again, it is impossible to find cool chicks here. My gay-dar doesn't work so that may be the root of the issue. But wtvz!

I guess it's required to post pictures so here you go. ) Try not to be offended by my overt sexuality. (it's impossible)

[i]iamsupernova posting in [i]birls: "I HAVE FOUND THE MOST BENDED GENDERBENDER TO EVER GENDERBEND."

Last night I decided to start watching Ouran High School Host Club again, mostly to see how much Japanese I remember from my brief flirtation with weeaboo status in high school, and fell in love with it all over again. While it's pretty hilariously ridiculous, the main attraction for me is Haruhi:

I'm not usually a big anime fan, so I didn't know at who I could flail my newfound interest, so I tweeted about how I liked seeing slender anime girls playing slender anime boys playing slender anime girls. My friend replied with a link to what is now kind of my new favorite thing ever. It's A manga where "the feminine-looking hero crossdresses as a girl to capture the heart of the heroine... who is a masculine "prince" of an all-girl rock band... dedicated to looking like boys." The post I linked to just keeps getting better and better - crazier, more bizarre, and full of incredibly confusing genderfuckery. I am currently reading my way through it, though the scanlation leaves a bit to be desired, and am at Chapter 6. Whee! Thought you folks might be interested too.

I was/am a Chinese person for Halloween (specifically, a Chinese man, circa 1940). Someone was nice enough to try to make me a hat, complete with a braid, but it didn't work out very well. Somebody mistook me for a butler. I was not happy. Later on, after I'd switched into my usual, warmer clothes, some blond boy called "Chinaman!" at me. I was again not happy. The intricacies of costume.

[i]kayori posting in [i]birls: Homophobic bullying in schools.

Hello birls and birl-friends!

Recap: Lindsey, 22, pansexual.

I'm getting ready to write a research paper on a topic of my choosing and I chose the topic of homophobic bullying in schools. We have to conduct an interview as part of the process and I thought I would check here first to see if anyone might be interested in being my interviewee.

Were you ever a victim of homophobic bullying in school?
Are you a relative or friend of someone who was/is bullied in school because of their orientation (or perceived orientation)?
Or perhaps you simply witnessed an occurrence of homophobic bullying in school?

If any of the above applies to you and you'd be willing to talk about it, please let me know, either by comment or message.

I have not formulated exact questions yet, but to give you some sort of idea, the interview will be mainly about describing the type of bullying that took place, where it took place, what was done about it (if anything), and the effects it had.

My aim with this research paper is to educate others on what homophobic bullying is, why it happens, who is affected, its long-term effects, as well as how it should be handled and prevented in our schools.

Thanks!
